Signs of Spring journal 11

This week signs of spring to me is that we are going to have field day soon. Me and my friends were talking about it and some of the teachers. Also my friends in 7th grade are already planning for it so i hope the 6th grade teacher will to. My friend told me that they spent one team time to talk about what they are going to do. So this is a sign of spring to me because in elementary school we had field day around this time too. Evan though i don't have pictures yet because field day didn't happen yet i'm going to put them on soon.

Moving on, during field day in the previous years my grade would have races. Also we would have a water balloon fight and we would dry pretty fast because we would run around and it was really hot. Also we ate some cold popstickals that the teachers brought in. So field day is my sign of spring for this week.

Signs of Spring Journal 10

This weeks signs of spring to me is my parents and I went to go walk around Lake Quannapowitt. It took about one hour to go around the whole lake. We went there around five o'clock and we came home around six o'clock. When we came home the sun was still shining. So I went to go play outside to seven o'clock and even then it the sun was still out.
While we were walking the ice cream man came around (which sold slush) . We bought some slush from him which is the second sign of spring to me. HE had my favorite type of slush, blue vanilla. Also i had a mix of blue vanilla with watermelon. Which tasted delicious. So those are my signs of spring for this week.

Signs of Spring Journal 9

This weeks signs of spring to me are my aunt and uncles anniversary and all the birds out side that are singing. Birds singing out side is a huge sign of spring because that means that they migrated back and some to have there young. Also in spring birds are always singing their song. So now every time I go out I can hear like 10 different birds singing or calling. I always hear them and see them when i go out side. I see some on my backyard fence. Also some flying in the sky, but some times I can't see them but i can always hear them.

Also my aunt and uncles anniversary was a sign of spring because most of my cousins came and we played out side. We had a basket ball game around 6 o'clock and the sun was still out. We played in till about 7 o'clock and it was still out. So that was a sign of spring, that the sun stays out for a long time. During the winter the sun sets at about 5 to 6 o'clock so it is a big difference. So those are my signs of spring for this week.
