Signs of Spring Journal 5

Some signs of spring to me are that Easter is almost here and so is April vacation. Easter always reminds me of spring. Because when i was little my mom and dad used to buy Easter eggs. So all my cousins and I searched for them. Also mostly every year after we stopped my mom still bought some Easter decorations for a little celebration.

Also the other sign of spring is April vacation. This is a sign of spring to me because almost every year my family and I go to New Jersey to meet my aunt, uncle, grandmother, grandpa, and my two cousins. So my family and I usually take our silver Lexus there for the week and come back. The last time I went there was one year ago last April vacation when they bought a new house. Also when we were their my brother my cousins and I played out side every day so it reminds me about the great weather.

Signs of Spring Journal 4

A Sign of Spring to me this week is St. Patrick's Day. The green three leaf clover always reminds me of the warm weather. Also it always reminds me have spring and April Vacation. Also St. Patrick's Day is my aunts birthday so it also reminds me of her. So that is the first Sign of Spring to me. Second the trees in my backyard have and are getting or growing new leaves. So most of my backyard is green or getting close to all green.

A third sign of spring is the sunset. The sun sets was at 6:54. Which is a lot later than before. Also it was 64 degrees Fahrenheit at high. Which is a lot higher than last month. Also I took a picture of the sunset and there was a lot more color in it. It had pink and something close to a light blue. So i think that soon maybe in a month there will be more color during in the sunset. I think this because in the sunsets in the winter there are no colors. And last year in the summer the sunsets were amazing and full of color. So i think it is getting close to that stage.

Signs of Spring Journal 3

Some Signs of Spring to me are that my mom finally let me wear shorts. This is a sign of spring to me because my mother never lets me wear shorts out side in the winter. So this means that the weather is getting warmer. Also another sign of spring to me is that at school today we went out side after lunch and we never did that since last spring. Also i am starting to hear different bird calls which i haven't identified yet.

Another Signs of Spring is that the sun didn't set till around 6:00 today. Also in the winter the sun set was very early around 4:00 if I remember correctly. So the sun set is getting later so that means that Spring will be here soon. Also another sign of spring to me is the warm weather we have been having for the past few days. Lastly is that my dad let me go to Gregory's to buy slush. Where he never lets me go and eat it in the winter on my bike. Also he never lets me eat slush in the winter so this is a sign of spring.
